ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by a Dahab Safari Day Tours representative, who will help you at passport control, in the luggage area, and at customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo by a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Khan El Khalili Bazaars

We will pick you up from your hotel to enjoy an excursion to The Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mycerinus. Then we will proceed with a visit to the Great Sphinx, which dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the pyramid of Chefren. Then you will have your lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold, and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was found. Then end your day with a visit to Khan El Khalili Bazaars. Shops in this district are legendary for fine brassware, copper, perfumes, leather, silver, gold, antiques, and more. Return to your hotel after your trip.

Day 3: Aswan / Cruise

Breakfast, then you will be transferred to the domestic airport.

Departure by plane to Aswan.

Arrival and visit to the High Dam and the Philae temple.

Transfer to the Cruise. Lunch on board.

Sail to Kom Ombo.

Afternoon tea.

Visit the temple shared by the two gods Sobek and Haroeris.

Sail to Edfu.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Overnight in Edfu.

Day 4: Temple of Horus

Breakfast on board.

Visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu.

Cross the lock.

Sail to Luxor.

Afternoon Tea.

Overnight in Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 5: West Bank

Breakfast on board. Cross to the West Bank to visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon, representing Amenophis III facing the Nile.
Excursion to the Valley of Kings, visit the tombs of various Dynasties, Temple of Deir El Bahari.

Overnight in Luxor.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 6: East Bank

Breakfast on board. Disembarkation. Begin of the Full-Day Tour to the East Bank: the excursion to the Luxor Temple to see its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. Then proceed to Karnak Temples, the greatest example of worship in history, which was dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu.
Transfer to the airport. Departure by plane to Cairo. Arrival, meet, and assisted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel.

Overnight in Cairo.

Day 7: Final Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Cairo international airport for final departure.
