EGYPT NILE CRUISE 7 DAYS 6 NIGHTS

  I booked. Couple of tours with Dahab for my trip to Egypt in January 2023.
Firstly, communication with Dahab was flawless. They responded very quick to initial emails, after which... read more all communicated via WhatsApp. Very swift and helpful responses. The team were on the ball.all the time, from initial enquiries to booking and even after booking.

Secondly, they were very helpful in planning pir trips. Even when I wasn't sure what I wanted, they were very helpful in making suggestions and making sure that my days were utilised to the maximum.

In Cairo, we had an entire day to ourselves as we waited for our midnight plane back to Sharm. They could have just left us to our own devices after our tour but they ensured that both the driver and guide spent the entire day with us until airport drop off, making sure that, as 2 lone women, we weren't left alone.

As far as customer service, I give top marks and woild recommend to all.

The tours, we booked the Combined Sunset and Sunrise hike in Sinai Mountains and the Pyramids of Giza....both tours were amazing. We were well looked after, the driver came on time and all of our tour guides were brilliant. The itinerary of both tours and activities that Dahab booked for us were brilliant.

Top marks and could not speak higher of them

They were all good experiences (a) White Canyon was absolutely great, although we didn't realise that you... read more had to descend into the canyon by rope - good fun (for us), but not if infirm and/or elderly - please be aware (b) Blue Hole was fun and relaxing (c) Mount Sinai Sun-Rise was spectacular, although, again not if infirm and/or elderly, as it involves 3 hour walk up 2,500 feet during the night - we're in our late 50s, and we were exhausted (& ached for a few days afterwards), but the view is fantastic and amazing. Raheem is an affable guy, who understood our needs and arranged the trips - good, reliable guy.

  Short - Powerful - Grateful - Was for a short stay in Dahab. Booked an amazing hike on the Moses Mountain.

  Nice experience 2day Luxor - Did a 2day Luxor tour from Cairo by airplane. Driver was on time to and from Cairo Airport. In Luxor, the representative was already waiting when we landed. We then... read more met our guide Hgreta. On ocassion, she was a bit fast but on time, knowledgeable and gave us everything to make it an enjoyable and a satisfying trip.
The overnight hotel Lotus (Luxor) had a pool, nice staff, with a lovely view of the Nile river. They didn't accept credit cards, only cash (lobby ATM) and the food was disappointing.

We had a few hours on the 2nd day to relax a bit and enjoy the pool, continue touring, then to the airport back to Cairo late evening.
Overall, we enjoyed the trip.

The driver was nice, very comfortable car with air conditioning. The only thing I wish was to do another route more challenging to get to the top of the mountain. But as was on Ramadan and the guide was fasting I could not asking for that. I really recommend to everyone to do this tour with this agency.

The lunch at the oasis was very enjoyable. All in all we had a blast and would definitely recommend it.

Ahmed, the owner, is always available by Whatsapp so any last minute changes like a customization to the tour or an urgent taxi need can be arranged by him right away - again, at a competitive price. Dealing with one tour agency for all of my needs in Egypt, when I do not speak Arabic, made everything so much more streamlined.

  Total bait-and-switch, not at all what we paid for - We booked this Bedouin dinner tour with Dahab Safari Day Tours, which is advertised as a camel ride, dinner (and perhaps shisha/hookah) in a Bedouin tent, and stargazing at night.... read more Instead, we were picked up at 9pm (instead of the advertised 7pm) by Jeep, joined by another couple, taken to an outdoor concert venue (no camel), fed a foil-wrapped dinner, and watched a dance and fire show until 11pm, at which point we had to ask the other couple and our driver permission to return to Dahab. While this experience may be enjoyable for some, we were looking forward to a peaceful evening, interacting with some Bedouins, and stargazing up in the mountains. Instead, we watched what was basically a rave with electronic music and a series of dances and fire stunts. No part of this experience was authentic or Bedouin in nature, and the saddest part is that we were looking forward to seeing some stars, but couldn’t see the sky because of all of the lights from the show. We went to Dahab Safari Day Tours the next day and told them about our experience, and instead of offering to make it right or apologizing, the owner became very argumentative, stating that other travelers booked the same tour and enjoyed their experience. We finally settled on a partial refund for half the amount of the booking, but the most frustrating part is that we lost one of the few evenings we had in Dahab, when we could have planned something more enjoyable with that time.
