Tiran est une grande île en forme de croissant située à l’entrée du Détroit de Tiran, qui sépare la Mer Rouge du Golfe d’Aqaba et fait plus de 1800 mètres de profondeur. À l’est se trouve un lagon isolé aux eaux bleues cristallines avec les coraux vivants les plus spectaculaires qu’on puisse rêver de voir, qui n’existent que dans le golfe d’Aqaba et attirent énormément d’habitants marins. Ces récifs coralliens se composent de quatre groupes : Gordon, Jackson, Thomas et Woodhouse, qui sont séparés par de profondes crevasses. Avec ces coraux fascinants et cette incroyable vie marine, Tiran est une destination idéale pour les excursions en bateau de plongeurs et snorkeleurs, sans parler de son intérêt historique.
Vous serez pris en charge à votre hôtel de Dahab à 08h00 et, après 90 minutes de route, arriverez à la jetée d’où vous embarquerez pour commencer votre excursion en bateau à l’Île de Tiran. En route vers l’île, il y aura une halte au Blue Lagoon, où vous pourrez nager et explorer le superbe monde sous-marin. Les eaux y étant relativement peu profondes, c’est aussi un endroit convenant aux débutants et aux enfants. Le deuxième arrêt se fera près de la côte de l’Île de Tiran, qui est elle aussi une excellent spot pour observer la diversité marine de cette zone. À bord, on vous offrira un déjeuner et des sodas. Sur le chemin du retour, vous aurez une troisième arrêt vous permettant de découvrir le splendide monde sous-marin et ..une épave de bateau! Vous serez ensuite reconduit à votre hôtel aux environs de 17h00.
